Yu Lina and Lin Yaoji
Yu Lina is a famous Chinese violinist, born in 1940, originally from Jiangshan Town, Yin County, Zhejiang Province (now Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province), grew up in Shanghai. She studied piano since she was a child, and later entered the High School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1951, and then studied under Dou Lixun and Tan Shuzhen in the Orchestral Department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 1962, Yu Lina graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and became a violinist.
